Hello.
When students arrive Australia, on the same day of arrival, they have to buy certain necessary grocery and things. For that, they have to go to city or stores. But what if they do not have any relatives who will drive them there nor they have transportation concession card as they have not received their student id. So what should they do? Is taxi a good option in this situation? (2) Can we travel in public transports without transportation card?(means with cash)
Thank youš
Hi Sugam
thanks for this interesting question.
from airport you can easily take taxi even with cash or buy a metrocard/ ticket in airport to use public bus, you can use card or cash for this as well. Before you depart it is good to know how you can reach your destination from airport via routes offered in Google Maps. Once you reach your destination, major grocery stores are conveniently located everywhere so shouldnāt be a problem as well. we will try to make a short video about getting out of airport tomorrow if possible.
